Rat Detection/Abatement
Abatement-trained K9s are focused solely on locating invasive or pest species and dispatching their prey. These dogs have an extremely high prey drive and are specifically bred for this activity, making them highly effective in quickly and humanely dispatching their targets by efficiently detecting and eliminating rat populations providing a more environmentally friendly approach. This approach also reduces the amount of rodenticide needed to maintain control of the area, minimizing secondary exposure to family pets and other wildlife.
Canine rat detection is especially good for large facilities, buildings that have a lot of rooms, places where there’s clutter or lots of dumpsters, or where there have been rodents that have been difficult to catch.
